Abstract

MIA (Microscopy Information Assistant) v1.1.0 is a lightweight, 'idiot-proof' tool designed for biologists to instantly extract hidden metadata from microscopy files without writing code. As part of the Epivitae Biosensor Tools suite, MIA bridges the gap between complex Bio-Formats data and human-readable reports. v1.1.0 Release Highlights: 🚀 Drag & Drop Experience: Simply drag any microscopy file (.oir, .czi, .lif, .nd2) into the window to view dimensions, pixel size, and time intervals instantly. 🌈 Spectrum Mapping: Automatically visualizes Excitation/Emission wavelengths with color-coded indicators (e.g., ● Ex488), making channel identification intuitive. 🕵️‍♂️ Hybrid Parsing (Olympus .oir): Includes a specialized 'Range Hunter' engine to extract proprietary metadata hidden by Olympus, such as exact laser lines, emission filter ranges, and millisecond-precision time intervals. 📊 One-Click Export: Exports a professional CSV report compatible with Excel, containing both a formatted summary and the complete raw metadata table (UTF-8 BOM supported). Supported Formats: Olympus (.oir): Full Support (Hybrid Raw Parsing) Zeiss (.czi), Leica (.lif), Nikon (.nd2): Standard OME-XML Support Generic Formats: All formats supported by Bio-Formats 📧 Contact & Support:Kui WangEmail: k@cns.ac.cnInstitute: Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology (CEBSIT), CAS
