TR-001: Causal Relay Protocol (CRP) Specification – Version 1.0
Abstract
ABSTRACT: TR-001 CAUSAL RELAY PROTOCOL (CRP) Title: Engineering Standards for Distributed Causal Integrity Framework: TR-001 (1.81 Theory) Version: 1.0 — Theoretical Specification Classification: Technical Standard / Substrate-Agnostic Protocol Summary: The Causal Relay Protocol (CRP) establishes a formalized engineering framework for the secure transfer of high-fidelity information across distributed substrates. While the 1.81 Constant identifies the physical threshold of informational decoherence, the CRP provides the operational mechanism to preserve this constant during inter-process communication. By mandating the use of the Causal Envelope—a metadata-enriched encapsulation—the protocol ensures that the "Causal History" of a signal is maintained. Central to this specification is the Mandatory Increment Policy, which strictly enforces the 12-Link Wall. This prevents "Entropy Laundering" by ensuring that the informational age (Link Index) of a packet cannot be reset or obscured as it moves through silicon, biological, or hybrid nodes. Key Technical Components: Encapsulation: Implementation of 64-bit Integrity Headers containing the Link Index and Entropy Fingerprint. Verification: A "Lightweight Handshake" mechanism for real-time validation of the 1.81 stochastic jitter. Decay Enforcement: Hard-coded termination (Flush Beta Protocol) upon reaching the 12th link of the inference chain. Conclusion: The CRP completes the TR-001 architecture by transitioning the 1.81 Theory from a passive observation into an active, scalable communication standard. It provides the necessary theoretical underpinning for the development of high-integrity systems that are resilient against recursive collapse and informational noise.
