Q-Strings: Variational Quantum Simulation of String-Inspired Dynamics on NISQ Devices
Abstract
We present Q-Strings, a computational framework for the simulation of string-inspired dynamics using variational quantum algorithms. We implement a mapping of vibrational degrees of freedom onto a 10-qubit register, achieving ground state convergence (E ≈ -11.66) through the Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE). This research highlights a specific configuration where optimal θ parameters show symmetric convergence to π values, suggesting inherent noise resilience. Data Availability: The validation metrics, scalability plots, and technical reports for 6, 10, 15, and 20 qubits are available in https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18331544. The raw technical checkpoint files (JSON format) containing specific θ parameters and Hamiltonian mappings are strictly proprietary to protect the framework's architectural novelty. These records are maintained for institutional audit or peer-review purposes and are available only upon formal, reasonable request to the author.
