Abstract

Abstract We present the Anisotropic Self-Consuming Viscous Hydraulic Suspension Model (AS-VHSM v4.0), an effective field theory (EFT) designed to address late-time cosmic acceleration and the Hubble tension ($H_0$). Constructed within the Degenerate Higher-Order Scalar-Tensor (DHOST) framework, the model strictly satisfies the gravitational wave speed constraint ($c_T=c$). The model reconstructs cosmological dynamics through three microscopic mechanisms: Dark Energy Origin: A Ghost Condensate mechanism stabilizes the vacuum, providing a repulsive dark energy background ($w \approx -1$). Medium-Dependent Valve: Utilizing the Chameleon screening mechanism, the fifth force is activated exclusively in low-density voids while being suppressed in high-density regions. Local Pumping: Spontaneous scalarization of black holes within the DHOST framework acts as a non-equilibrium source for the scalar field. Phenomenological analysis demonstrates that within the natural parameter space ($\beta \sim 0.5$), the model successfully: (1) passes Solar System thin-shell screening constraints; (2) quantitatively resolves the $H_0$ tension via gravitational enhancement in voids ($\mathcal{A} \approx 1.5$); and (3) alleviates the $S_8$ tension through cold dark energy clustering and screening mechanisms.
