Abstract

One of the most common and pervasive metabolic diseases in the world is type 2 diabetes. Although T2DM has historically been linked to older adults, its prevalence among younger people has sharply grown in recent years. There are several different diabetic biomarkers available today, including those that are being studied further and those that are widely utilised in clinical care, such HbA1c. There is a constant need to find trustworthy, accurate, and conventional biomarkers for early patient diagnosis and therapy because, despite their competence, the current diabetes biomarkers all exhibit limits in terms of accuracy and convenience. Future research is thus guided by this review, which provides a thorough foundation on both conventional and innovative T2DM biomarkers.
