Abstract

Energetic First Principles (E1P) predicts that crossing a stability threshold τ reverses the direction of constraint: below τ, interior dynamics drive global behavior; above τ, global constraints select among local possibilities. This paper identifies seven structural bridges connecting two E1P frameworks—quantum gravity as τ-crossing dynamics and quantum mechanics as boundary physics—revealing them as complementary descriptions of a unified architecture. The synthesis yields a sharp claim: quantum gravity is the dynamics of τ-crossing, and quantum mechanics is the boundary law of that crossing, quantized in action units h. The threshold τ (dimensionless) determines where discreteness appears; Planck's constant h (dimensioned) determines how much happens per event. These are logically distinct parameters that standard approaches conflate into a single "Planck scale." These "seven bridges" reframe the quantum-gravity problem as a category mismatch between interior field dynamics and boundary selection, transforming it from a unification problem into an interface problem.
