AIRLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM
Abstract
Abstract The travel industry's rapid expansion has led to a need for improved airline reservation systems (ARS). Traditional manual booking methods have several drawbacks, including data duplication, slow processing times, and a high risk of human error. This paper presents a web-based, centralized platform to simplify flight scheduling, seat inventory management, and passenger ticket purchases. The system is divided into three layers: a responsive frontend, a strong application logic layer, and a relational database backend. Among the main features are an admin dashboard for flight management, secure user login, and real-time seat availability updates. Experimental results show that the proposed system significantly reduces the "time-to-ticket" metric and enhances data accuracy through automated validation processes.
