A Finite, Over-Constrained Alternative to Renormalized Quantum Field Theory
Abstract
This paper presents a finite, non-renormalized quantum framework whose internal consistency is established algorithmically rather than rhetorically. The framework is based on an explicit ontological separation of physical regimes (real, virtual, and interface domains), two geometric regulators derived from {π,φ,e}\{\pi, \varphi, e\}{π,φ,e}, and a rotational closure condition fixing interface dynamics. The central result is algorithmic closure: once the axioms are adopted, all predictions follow deterministically, different physical processes require distinct dimensionless ratios, and linked predictions cannot be independently tuned. The framework contains zero free parameters, no fitted constants, and no divergent intermediate quantities. An accompanying validation script enforces: strict domain separation, exclusive ratio assignment (“ratio discipline”), over-constraint between independent physical sectors, and explicit localization of failure modes. The script does not search for axioms or discover mappings; it tests whether the stated ontology and regulator assignments form a closed, over-constrained system with no hidden degrees of freedom. Empirical validation is external to the script. The ammonia inversion frequency provides one falsifiable anchor in the oscillatory sector, while other predictions remain experimentally open. The geometric 24-rotation (φ3/RG2≈24\varphi^3/\mathrm{RG}^2 \approx 24φ3/RG2≈24) is treated here as a derived closure condition established in prior work and used to test internal consistency under that principle. This paper does not propose an incremental modification of quantum field theory. It replaces the methodological foundation that necessitates renormalization by constructing a framework in which infinities never arise and errors cannot be silently absorbed. Whether ultimately accepted or rejected, the work establishes a standard: a physical theory must be finite by construction, over-constrained against parameter fitting, and capable of mechanically testing its own internal honesty.
