Abstract

The Knight Protocol (Rel. 6.0) is a proposed technical middleware designed to mitigate systemic risks in Large Language Models (LLMs) through adaptive biological latency calibration. Utilizing large-scale ANCOVA simulations (N=100,000), the framework demonstrates an effect size of \eta_p^2 = 0.94 with a statistical significance of p < 10^{-308} (machine epsilon limit). The data indicates an 81% reduction in factual volatility and an 84% mitigation of user cognitive overload compared to standard uncalibrated models. This protocol is presented as a formal technical contribution toward fulfilling Human Oversight obligations under Article 14 of the EU AI Act. It addresses the "Flash-Hallucination" phenomenon and provides an economic recovery of lost data value (91% recovery rate). Note: This preprint includes technical specifications for a safety kernel and is intended for AI safety research and regulatory compliance purposes.
