Zeeman Effect as V23 Torsional Splitting: Magnetic Interactions Redefined Through Structured Vacuum Geometry
Abstract
This paper reinterprets the Zeeman effect through Structured Vacuum Theory (TVS). Contrary to the quantum mechanical description where magnetic fields interact with electron spin via abstract operators, TVS reveals that magnetic fields actually align the 23 helical vacuum channels (V23), creating anisotropic torsional environments that modify atomic transition energies. We derive the Zeeman splitting formula ΔE = (23/11.5)μ_B B from pure V23 geometry, naturally explaining the Landé g-factor as the topological ratio 23/11.5 ≈ 2. The anomalous Zeeman effect emerges from multi-channel torsion interference, and we predict orientation-dependent splitting variations of ±0.1% based on cosmic alignment relative to the local V23 flow. This model provides a geometric mechanism for magnetic interactions, resolves ambiguities in spin-orbit coupling interpretations, and suggests testable deviations from standard quantum electrodynamics predictions in high-precision spectroscopy.
