Relativity Done Right: Lorentz Transformations as Physical Compression in Structured Vacuum Theory
Abstract
Einstein's relativity presents length contraction, time dilation, and mass-energy equivalence as kinematical consequences of spacetime geometry. Structured Vacuum Theory (TVS) provides the missing mechanical explanation: moving objects literally compress the 23 helical vacuum channels (V23) they traverse. We derive Lorentz transformations from actual channel squeezing, time dilation from torsional Doppler shifts in atomic vibrations, and E=mc² from increased torsional energy of knots in compressed V23. Crucially, TVS predicts anisotropic contraction in non-cubic crystals (quartz vs silicon differing by 0.1%) and cosmic orientation dependence of relativistic effects—testable predictions that distinguish TVS from Einstein's purely geometric approach. Relativity becomes not abstract geometry but comprehensible vacuum mechanics.
