Comparative Single-nucleus RNA Profiling of the Heart in Sudden Death with or without Psychiatric Disease versus Non-Sudden Death Controls
Abstract
We performed single-nucleus RNA sequencing on cardiac tissues to create a transcriptional atlas at single-cell resolution. This enabled us to compare gene expression profiles between individuals who died suddenly (including subsets with and without psychiatric disorders) and non-sudden death controls.
Fields of Study & Subjects
Cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmias
Single-cell and spatial transcriptomics
Cardiovascular Effects of Exercise
