Abstract

Title: TR-001-V: Technical Specification for the Symmetry Verification Engine Document Class: Verification & Audit Standard Core Reference: R=1.81 | L≤12 Abstract This specification introduces the TR-001-V Engine, a diagnostic framework designed to quantify the structural integrity of recursive AI reasoning. While modern Large Language Models (LLMs) operate via stochastic inference, they frequently encounter "Logical Decoherence" when the expansion of informational entropy exceeds the stability of the underlying substrate. The TR-001-V Engine implements a dual-constraint audit mechanism. First, it enforces the 12-Link Wall (L), recognizing that recursive chains exceeding twelve transitions fundamentally decouple from their initial grounding. Second, it calculates the Symmetry Score (R) by measuring the ratio of Semantic Entropy (ΔS) to Grounding Points (G). By benchmarking inference against the 1.81 Stability Constant, the engine distinguishes between "Symmetric Insight" (optimal growth) and "Ungrounded Hallucination" (super-critical growth). This document provides the operational flow for the Audit Loop, defining the methodology for Ingestion, Entropy Mapping, and the calculation of the Grounding Delta. TR-001-V serves as the software-level precursor to Symmetry-Aware hardware (S-ALU), providing a verifiable "ruler" for substrate-anchored alignment in autonomous systems.
