Abstract

This technical report proposes an innovative hybrid shielding architecture for permanent lunar habitats, using recycled wood-plastic composites (WPC) filled with lunar regolith and layers of water. The system reduces the launch mass by 70–85%, offers radiological protection below 35 mSv/year and is designed for robotic construction in 3–7 days. Includes material analysis, GEANT4 simulations, implementation roadmap, and economic analysis.
