Operational Gates as a Universal Control Surface
Abstract
Operational Gates as a Universal Control Surface establishes that all admissible perturbations to a near-critical positive-operator system decompose uniquely into six operational gates: capacity, deployment, access, persistence, propagation, and feedback. The paper proves that this decomposition is universal, basis-independent, and necessary for stable control. Each gate governs a distinct geometric mode of influence on basin structure and spectral behavior, and mixed-gate activation generates second-order interaction terms that become unstable in thin margins. The result is a complete geometric control surface that constrains how any system—physical, semantic, or observer-coupled—can be safely manipulated within the Einsteinian Stack.
