An Effective Nonlinear Evolution Equation for Informational Structure within the ZIP Framework
Abstract
This work proposes a minimal nonlinear evolution equation intended to describe the effective dynamics of informational structure as inferred from ZIP-based diagnostics. The ZIP Framework treats entropy and related measures as indicators of structural organization in physical systems, independent of energy-based descriptions. Motivated by empirical observations from previous ZIP applications to independent datasets, the proposed equation is formulated as a phenomenological reaction–diffusion model with nonlinear saturation and an external coherence-driven source term. The equation is not introduced as a fundamental physical law, nor does it replace existing theories. Instead, it provides a compact and mathematically consistent effective description of informational self-organization suggested by data. The qualitative numerical behavior of the equation is discussed, demonstrating stable, saturating dynamics without finite-time singularities, chaos, or sensitivity to initial conditions. This supports its role as a regulator and carrier of informational structure rather than as a generator of complexity. This contribution is intended as a methodological and conceptual extension of the ZIP Framework, bridging empirical informational diagnostics and dynamical modeling while clearly stating its scope and limitations.
