Statistical Validation of Life as a Thermodynamic Regulator: Multi-Seed Analysis of Dissipation-Channel Rewiring and Movable Phase Transitions
Abstract
We present a multi-seed statistical validation of the Life as a Thermodynamic Regulator (LaTR) hypothesis using an agent-based non-equilibrium thermodynamic model. By performing systematic parameter sweeps across inflow and metabolic consumption rates with 30 independent random seeds, we demonstrate that biological agents reorganize dissipation channels and induce movable phase transitions between accelerator and regulator regimes. The results confirm that the previously reported dissipation rewiring and critical transition phenomena are robust under stochastic fluctuations, supporting the interpretation of life as an active regulator of entropy production pathways.
