Reverse Engineering Reality - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Hologram
Abstract
This book explores a speculative framework called Observer Patch Holography (OPH), which attempts to derive the laws of physics from a single principle: observers must agree where their descriptions overlap. The framework starts with two parameters (pixel area and screen capacity) and four axioms about observer patches on a holographic screen. From these minimal inputs, it derives: Lorentz invariance and special relativity Einstein's equations of general relativity Gauge symmetry and the Standard Model structure Massless force carriers (photon, graviton, gluons) Charge quantization and the fermion spectrum The book is written for curious readers with some physics background. It traces the logical chain from foundational concepts (entropy, quantum information, holography) through the mathematical machinery (operator algebras, modular flow, entanglement) to testable predictions.
