CLOCKS THAT STOPPED WORKING: About time, resets, and logic that stops working
Abstract
“The Clocks That Stopped Working” is an interdisciplinary analysis of systems — natural and technological — that lose synchronization with their own operational rhythms. The work integrates geophysics, epistemology, systems theory, and observations of contemporary informational models to reveal how desynchronization of time, logic, and perception leads to resets at planetary and civilizational scales. It examines the mechanisms behind the loss of coherence: from geomagnetic disturbances and cognitive anomalies to the overwriting of reality by algorithmic models. The study proposes a new interpretative framework in which “clocks” represent systemic rhythms — biological, technological, and cultural — and explores what happens when these rhythms cease to operate within a shared temporal structure.
