Abstract

This article examines the theoretical basis for the integrated and differentiated use of land, taking into account ecological and landscape features. Fundamental principles of ecology and rational nature management come to the forefront, including the laws of dynamic equilibrium, diversity, indispensability, and equivalence of environmental factors, as well as the laws of limiting factors, optimum and maximum, and the limitations of natural resources. The unique properties of natural systems, altered by human activity, must be taken into account. Their organization is complex and manifests itself both over time and across space. The elements of this system are deeply interconnected both within specific zones and beyond. This structure is characterized by both commonality in certain aspects and differences in others, which determines different responses to similar impacts of varying strength and nature.
