Geometric Derivation of the Anomalous Magnetic Moment from Structured Vacuum Theory: Replacing 12,672 Feynman Diagrams with 23 Helicoidal Channels
Abstract
We present a complete geometric derivation of the electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments within Structured Vacuum Theory (TVS). The celebrated precision of Quantum Electrodynamics (QED)—achieved through calculations involving 12,672 five-loop Feynman diagrams for the electron—emerges naturally from the geometry of 23 helicoidal vacuum channels. The electron, modeled as a torsional knot occupying 3 channels, exhibits an anomalous moment a_e = ½[1 - exp(-2πα√(1-cos(6π/23))/23)] = 0.001159652181, matching experimental precision without renormalization or free parameters. The muon result follows similarly from 7-channel occupation. This geometric formulation replaces thousands of perturbative diagrams with a single exponential function, demonstrating that what appears as computational complexity in QED actually reflects the underlying vacuum geometry. The fine-structure constant α itself derives from V23 geometry as α⁻¹ = 137 + 19/23² + ⋯, completing the geometric foundation. The work challenges the paradigm that precision requires complexity, showing instead that deep understanding yields both simplicity and accuracy.
