Code and data for: Investigating the Principles Governing the Interactions between Terrestrial Green Algae and Their Associated Microbial Communities

This repository contains scripts, selected data, and intermediate files supporting the PhD thesis "Investigating the Principles Governing the Interactions between Terrestrial Green Algae and Their Associated Microbial Communities." The code is organized into directories corresponding to thesis chapters: Chapter 2: Assembly of Phycosphere Microbiota from Soil-Borne Microbes Across Diverse Green Algae Chapter 3: Transcriptomic responses of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii to a Synthetic Phycosphere Community (contains selected Supplementary Tables) Appendix to Chapter 3: Supplementary growth experiments Raw sequencing data, figures and all generated files are not included. See README.md for detailed information about requirements, file structure, and usage. Note: File paths in scripts may need to be adjusted to match your local directory structure.
