Instructional Stability Framework (ISF): A Conceptual Framework for Stability, Growth, and Navigation
Abstract
We propose the Instructional Stability Framework (ISF), a conceptual model for describing how stable physical regimes arise and persist through multi-level agreement rather than isolated pairwise interactions. ISF introduces a four-coordinate state space (X, Y, Z, W) capturing environmental and boundary conditions, thermal and dephasing effects, functional roles of components within an ensemble, and the system’s history or memory. Within ISF, chemical elements are treated as carriers of context-dependent roles, and long-lived stability is associated with coordinated ensembles of collective, network, and polar roles. We outline an ISF growth principle in which three-dimensional structures emerge through replication of stabilized two-dimensional instructions, and we introduce a navigation concept based on reference tables of stable sensor responses for drift-resistant orientation and environmental inference. ISF is intended as a unifying descriptive layer compatible with existing physical theories and applicable across materials, sensing, and autonomous navigation.
