Abstract

We propose a conceptual framework in which dark matter (DM) and dark energy (DE) emerge as different manifestations of the quantum gravitational field. Using the density matrix formalism for gravity, we distinguish: 1. Locally decohered gravitational states (ρ_dec): classical on local scales, potentially corresponding to DM. 2. Globally coherent gravitational states (ρ_coh): quantum coherent on cosmological scales, potentially corresponding to DE. This framework does not modify existing formalism, but offers an interpretational reading. It establishes the conceptual priority of the idea and allows for subsequent expansions or formal developments.
