Abstract

Maternal health constitutes a fundamental pillar of public health, with antenatal careserving as the gateway to safe motherhood and positive pregnancy outcomes. Thehealth of future generations is largely determined by the babys growth anddevelopment within the womb, making good perinatal health important not only toindividuals but to society and future generations.
