BleuRadience/ybco-jc-pinning-creep-simulator: YBCO Jc, Pinning, and Creep Simulator (Calibrated to 2025–2026 Literature)
Abstract
Open-source Python tool to simulate critical temperature (Tc) dome, critical current density (Jc), vortex creep, pinning effects (AM monocrystalline, BZO nano, hybrid, coherent APCs), anisotropy, and basic space-hardening tweaks in YBCO. Developed iteratively with Grok (xAI) and calibrated to public 2025–2026 literature, including: Additive-manufactured monocrystalline YBCO (Nature Communications 2025) Coherent artificial pinning centers (BaHfO₃/BaZrO₃, irradiation columns) Overdoped electrochemical oxidation TcSUH-related thin-film and pinning studies Features Parabolic Tc dome with phase flags (insulator, pseudogap suppression) Jc model with field dependence, anisotropy, defect size scaling Logarithmic vortex creep with U_p scaling for mitigation Monte Carlo uncertainty & error propagation Multi-objective defect optimization (max Jc with Tc constraint) Space mode (radiation hardening + low-mass scaling)
