Abstract

AbstractThis manuscript presents the finalized formulation of the Z.I.P.P.E.D. framework (Zwanenburg Inverse Proportionality Principle of Equilibrium Dynamics), a closed, elastic, and topologically finite model of spacetime. In contrast to expansion-based cosmologies, spacetime is described as a globally closed 3-torus matrix whose observable dynamics arise from elastic strain, node density, and geometric constraints rather than from motion into infinity. Gravitation emerges as a tension gradient within the matrix, while cosmological redshift is interpreted as accumulated elastic strain along geodesic paths. Dark energy and dark matter follow naturally as global matrix tension and enhanced node-density regions, respectively. Singularities are explicitly forbidden through a maximum curvature principle, replacing divergence-based physics with bounded geometric dynamics. The theory is formalized through a unified Lagrangian (“zipper formalism”) governing elastic energy, topological closure pressure, and causal relaxation. Z.I.P.P.E.D. provides a mathematically consistent, internally closed, and falsifiable geometric alternative to standard cosmological models, offering a coherent explanation of large-scale structure without invoking infinite spacetime, exotic matter fields, or external dimensions. Keywords / Hashtags#ZIPPED#Cosmology#TheoreticalPhysics#AlternativeGravity#ElasticSpacetime#ClosedUniverse#DarkEnergy#DarkMatter#GeometricPhysics#TopologicalCosmology#FoundationalPhysics#EmergentGravity
