Highway Cryptography: Post-Quantum Primitives from Prime Structure
Abstract
Highway Cryptography introduces post-quantum cryptographic primitives based on the Prime Highway, a deterministic structure where 14 consecutive primes modulo 510,510 uniquely determine the gap to the next prime with zero collisions through 1 billion primes. WHY IT RESISTS QUANTUM ATTACK Shor's algorithm breaks RSA and ECC by exploiting algebraic group structure. The Highway has no such structure. It is an empirical mapping with no known closed-form formula. Quantum computers cannot exploit structure that does not exist. CRYPTOGRAPHIC CONSTRUCTIONS 1. Highway Hash - Collision-resistant hash function with 256-bit output, 55.9% avalanche effect, zero collisions in testing. 2. Highway Signature - Post-quantum digital signature scheme. Private key: 32 bytes. Public key: 8,192 bytes. Signature: 47 KB. Signing under 1ms, verification 0.2ms. 3. Highway Key Exchange - Quantum-resistant key agreement protocol.
