Abstract

This note performs a minimal structural audit of Albert Einstein (1905), “Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Körper,” restricted to §1–§4. The audit observes only (i) closure handling and (ii) external viability as an outward-facing text. No interpretation, evaluation, historical positioning, or theoretical comparison is performed.Source File: J 1905 Einstein Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Koerper 1905_17_891-921.pdfFinalized Audit Text:This paper does not determine time (Zeit) as a physical entity or an essential concept; rather, it positions it as a procedural axis (a boundary medium) that binds description, measurement, and transformation. In §1, the author states that temporal comparison of events at different locations cannot be defined without an additional stipulation, and introduces such a stipulation as a symmetry condition for the round-trip of light (t_{B}-t_{A}=t_{A}^{\prime}-t_{B}). Here, Zeit functions not as an object of conceptual elucidation, but as a connection point (cut-point) for the entire theoretical structure. Under this arrangement, Zeit is not reclaimed into essentialization, psychologization, metaphysicalization, or substantialization, and is consistently utilized as an axis that maintains the description in a state of weak-closure.Evidence Logs: * §1 (Definition der Gleichzeitigkeit): * “… ohne weitere Festsetzung nicht möglich … ‘A-Zeit’ … ‘B-Zeit’ … keine … gemeinsame ‘Zeit’ …” * “… festsetzt, daß die ‘Zeit’ … von A nach B … gleich … von B nach A …” * “… Lichtstrahl … t_{A} … t_{B} … t_{A}^{\prime} …” * §2 (Relativität von Längen und Zeiten): * “Uhren … ‘synchron im ruhenden System’ …” * “t_{A} … t_{B} … t_{A}^{\prime} …” * “Gleichzeitigkeit … keine absolute Bedeutung …” * §3 (Theorie der Koordinaten- und Zeittransformation): * “… Zeit des bewegten Systems … Methode der Lichtsignale … (§1) …” * “x, y, z, t \dots \xi, \eta, \zeta, \tau \dots” * “\tau … Inbegriff der Angaben … Uhren … synchron …” * §4 (Physikalische Bedeutung der erhaltenen Gleichungen): * “… Zeit t … Zeit \tau …” * “\tau = t\sqrt{1 - (v/V)^2} \dots” * “… geschlossenen Kurve … wieder nach A … geht … nach …”Audit Protocol: * Closure evaluation: B (Weak-closure) * External viability: Yes * Zeit positioning: External fiber / Procedural axisOptional Appendix (Non-normative):Rule labels in the evidence logs function as internal audit tags only; they are not claims about interpretation, correctness, or historical priority. * Keywords: Einstein 1905; Zeit; simultaneity; synchronization; operational definition; weak closure; general relativity; identification protocol; structural audit * Notes: Non-evaluative structural audit. No historical positioning. No theoretical comparison.
