Hydrodynamic Origin of Time Dilation: Resonant Variation of Atomic Oscillators in Substratum Density and Flow Fields
Abstract
General Relativity (GR) treats time as a dynamic dimension that stretches in gravitational fields and with motion. This paper proposes an alternative, hydrodynamic interpretation based on our previous research (Papers I-VIII). We postulate that "time" is not a physical substance but a measure of process rates. Atomic systems (clocks) are modeled as harmonic oscillators within the Substratum (vacuum) medium. Mathematical analysis demonstrates that the reduction in oscillator frequency (Δν) in a gravitational field is caused by an increase in Substratum density (ρ), which enhances the "added mass" and inertial resistance. Similarly, kinematic time dilation (Lorentz factor) is explained as the effect of dynamic pressure (q) on atomic structure. This model fully aligns with empirical data (GPS, Pound-Rebka) while eliminating the ontological paradoxes of "time travel" and the "Block Universe."
