Abstract

This work presents a simple engineering framework for estimating effective operational thresholds in quantum error correction (QEC). The approach is intentionally limited in scope and does not propose new physical principles or modifications to quantum mechanics. Instead, it reformulates existing concepts into a fixed-parameter, batch-calibrated estimation tool designed for interpretability, low computational cost, and practical use in calibration and benchmarking scenarios. The framework is intended as a diagnostic aid rather than a foundational or predictive model.
