Trans-Luminal Hydrodynamics: Breaking the Light Speed Barrier via Substratum Pressure Modulation and Defining the Real Gravitational Limit
Abstract
Special Relativity (SR) postulates that the speed of light (c) is the absolute cosmic speed limit, requiring infinite energy for a massive body to reach. This paper challenges this postulate within the framework of Substratum Hydrodynamics (Papers I-IX). We demonstrate that c represents only the propagation speed of transverse waves (electromagnetic signals) in the Substratum, not a limit on mechanical motion. By applying principles of supercavitation to the vacuum medium, we introduce the concept of the Substratum Pressure Differential Drive (SPDD), capable of reducing local vacuum density to create a "hydrodynamic tunnel." Inside this inertial bubble, a spacecraft can achieve superluminal velocities without violating causality or mass-energy conservation. Furthermore, we calculate the real structural limit of the universe—the propagation speed of longitudinal pressure waves (gravity), estimated as Vg ≈ 10⁷ c.
