A Fundamental Equilibrium-Seeking Principle as a Unifying Concept of Physical Interactions
Abstract
This preprint proposes a generalized equilibrium-seeking principle as a unifying conceptual foundation underlying physical interactions. The work argues that motion, force, and energy transfer arise exclusively from deviations from equilibrium and proceed in the direction of restoring balance. The framework is shown to be consistent with classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electrodynamics, chemical thermodynamics, and gravitational dynamics. Forces and fields are interpreted as measurable manifestations of state imbalance rather than primary causes. The proposed principle does not replace existing physical laws but provides a causal interpretation common to all domains of physics.
