Abstract

This paper presents the third installment of Huang Binggang’s systematic development of electromagnetism within Zhang Xiangqian’s Unified Field Theory (UFT) framework, under the central paradigm that “physics is geometry.” The theory postulates that physical space undergoes a cylindrical helical motion centered on matter at the speed of light, and that all physical quantities arise as measurable geometric–dynamic properties of spacetime itself. Building on UFT’s core postulates, the work provides a first-principles geometric reconstruction of key electromagnetic and gravitational concepts. In particular, it reinterprets: Mass as spacetime vibration frequency: m = ℏω / c² Electric charge as the rate of change of that frequency Charge density as the product of spacetime vibration-unit number density and frequency variation rate, including the key identificationn = |ψ|², giving a realist geometric interpretation of the quantum probability density The paper derives, in a unified and dimensionally consistent manner: The geometric origin of charge density and the associated number-density formula A complete derivation and interpretation of the electric dipole moment, including multipole structure A unified field formulation for positive and negative gravitational fields, including an analytic propagation function for the anti-gravitational field Geometric derivations linking UFT to classical physics, including compatibility with Maxwell electrodynamics, Newtonian gravity, and the Reissner–Nordström metric A geometric explanation of curvature/warp, the Helmholtz equation, and the emergence mechanism of scalar waves The framework also proposes a purely geometric prediction for the fine-structure constant, reported asα = 1/(4π³ + π² + π) ≈ 1/137.036, in close agreement with experimental measurements. Overall, this work aims to provide a self-contained geometric theory capable of unifying electromagnetism and gravitation while offering a new conceptual foundation for charge, field generation, and spacetime dynamics.
