Abstract

This document has been superceded by "Identology Dictionary" retrievable at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo. 19656886 A technical reference work providing formal definitions for the vocabulary of PatternSense and Identology. This dictionary establishes the lexical infrastructure for a cross-domain framework addressing identity, coherence, constraint dynamics, and transformation in biological, computational, and organizational systems. The volume includes: Operational definitions (specification-grade, suitable for empirical application) Crosswalks to adjacent frameworks (predictive processing, autopoiesis, cybernetics, enactivism) Alphabetical index of terms with chapter references Mathematical conventions and symbolic notation Plain-language glossary for non-specialist readers This dictionary supports the theoretical corpus anchored by The Identity-Recursion-Consciousness Hypothesis (IRC Hypothesis) and its companion papers. It is designed for selective adoption: individual entries may be used without commitment to the broader framework. Related works: IRC Hypothesis; Operational Definition of Episodic Identity (ODEI); Eigenbehauptung; Architecture vs. Substrate Framework; Thermodynamic Constraint and Regime Shifts in Organized Systems
