Abstract

The messenger of Faraday's inductive polarized influential spooky action at a distance Jelačić and Boerhaave’s student Sanches as his patron Abstract We compiled a detailed study focused on the Beijing invention of early electrophorus developed in 1755: it was designed by Hallerstein’s, Desrobert’s and Amiot’s Beijing Jesuits and their Chinese collaborators. Boerhaave’s Leyden student Sanches arranged the shipment of needed equipment to those Beijing erudite as well as to the Philadelphian B. Franklin. The physician Franjo Luka Jelačić carried their Beijing reports to Petersburg as a part of regular Beijing Jesuits’ correspondence with the Russian academicians. Their Beijing novelties gradually influenced many Europeans including Aepinus, his student Wilcke, Leonhard Euler’s family, the Italians Beccaria, Beccaria’s nephew Cigna, and finally A. Volta. The Beijing experiment emerged simultaneously with B. Franklin Americanized electricity based on lightning rod. The diplomat Franklin arranged his immediate impacts, while the Beijing data had lasting although slowly spread influences. It initiated the newly introduced idedas of polarization and even induction. The modern and ancient competition between China and USA is there all over again. With the Russian caravans shipping merchandises as the Chinese window into the west, resembling the modern quarter of millennia later Putin’s shipping of cheap oil to his Chinese (and Indian) fellows. This essay is an extension of our earlier works printed in Europe, in USA, in Japan, and in China.
