Abstract

This manuscript accompanies the FLF application “Synaptic elasticity, habituation and short‑term memory in the mammalian brain”. It contains unpublished analyses demonstrating that NMDAR‑dependent short‑term potentiation (NMDAR‑STP) in adult hippocampal slices fulfils behavioural habituation criteria (CR1–CR9) and introduces synaptic elasticity (SEL) as a reversible, stimulus‑dependent process. These data provide mechanistic grounding and feasibility for Objectives 1–3 of the fellowship proposal.
