Abstract

EN: This working paper introduces a state-based framework for understanding why contemporary influence dynamics, polarization, and ideological rigidity often persist despite factual correction. Instead of focusing on content or actors, it analyzes how cognitive and affective conditions shape executive control, judgment, and belief revision under pressure. The paper integrates insights from cognitive neuroscience, social psychology, and information ecology into a unified architecture. It is explanatory rather than accusatory and avoids operational guidance. Access is currently restricted under embargo. Access may be granted during the embargo period upon substantiated institutional request.
