Eastern Grey Kangaroo Optimization Algorithm
Abstract
The Eastern Grey Kangaroo Optimization Algorithm (EGKOA) is a nature-inspired optimization algorithm inspired by the behavior of the eastern grey kangaroo in Australia. This algorithm achieves efficient solutions to complex optimization problems by simulating the kangaroo's jumping search strategy, group cooperation mechanism, and local exploitation behavior. This paper analyzes in detail the algorithm modeling, individual jumping mechanism, group cooperation mechanism, local exploitation strategy, and dynamic adaptive control of EGKOA, and provides rich mathematical formulas to illustrate the algorithm's principles. EGKOA features strong global search capability, fine-grained local exploitation, high dynamic adaptability, and fast convergence efficiency, and can be widely applied to continuous optimization, combinatorial optimization, and multimodal optimization problems.
