Abstract

Open-access gastro endoscopy in the UK shows significant findings in many referrals, with reflux-related symptoms more predictive of endoscopic abnormalities than cancer-related alarm symptoms, particularly during altered healthcare delivery conditions like the COVID-19 pandemic.
