Corruption is a threat to the development of society.

This article discusses the concept of corruption, its legal content and itsnegative impact on the development of society. It also analyzes the mainmanifestations of corruption, its causes and legal mechanisms forcombating it. The article shows the reforms being implemented in thefield of combating corruption in the Republic of Uzbekistan and theirsignificance. The results of the study justify the need to form anuncompromising attitude towards corruption and raise legal awarenessand culture.
