Interactive Approaches to Developing EFL Learners' Listening Skills

This article examines the efficacy of authentic and textbook-based listening resources in enhancing EFLlearners’ listening comprehension. The study compares student performance, motivation, and perceptions when exposedto authentic audio sources versus standardized textbook recordings. The results indicate that authentic materials enhancelistening comprehension and motivation; however, textbook resources remain effective for controlled practice
