D6.4.3.1 Comparing State-of-The-Art Approaches in Energy System Research by Using the Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG)
Abstract
Incidents endangering the functionality and reliability of the energy system can occur in many ways: disturbances, thefts, faults, threats, anomalies, intrusions, or attacks. Each type has different causes and effects. It is necessary to make a comparison regarding causes and effects to develop methods for specific faults. The Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG) helps to organize scientific research by providing a structured way of presenting, producing, and (re-) using scientific knowledge from publications, software, and datasets. It is a promising service for energy system research as it allows users to create structured comparisons of state-of-the-art approaches, considering energy-specific aspects, such as domain-specific ontologies. This showcase focuses on creating comparisons with the ORKG for energy system research, and provides an example comparison, as well as two videos on the benefits and usage of the ORKG. Thus, it helps researchers apply the ORKG.
