Abstract

GRAPHERGIA and PHOENIX projects published in January 2026 a joint article “Next-Generation Sustainable Batteries: Insights from the GRAPHERGIA and PHOENIX Projects” presenting their eco-friendly methodologies, the socio-economic impacts of our lithium-ion batteries, and the role of bigger initiatives, such as the Graphene Flagship and Battery 2030+, rethinking the European graphene and battery ecosystem.
