Speculative Litigation as Attention Infrastructure: Platform-Studies Analysis and Source Artifact
Abstract
This record contains a scholarly platform-studies and digital-ethnography analysis alongside its primary source artifact. The accompanying paper, Speculative Litigation as Attention Infrastructure, examines an AI influencer video that frames speculative legal conflict as an imminent civilizational inflection point. Rather than adjudicating factual accuracy, the analysis treats the video as platform-optimized rhetorical infrastructure: a durable, reusable communicative system that converts legal ambiguity into authority, urgency, affective coordination, and monetization within the AI attention economy. Using an artifact-centered, non-adjudicative methodology, the paper analyzes synthetic authority via an AI-clone persona, temporal compression, escalation ladders that reduce falsifiability, monetization pivots, and audience response patterns. The concept of falsifiability reduction is introduced to explain how escalating existential stakes render specific claims operationally irrelevant while sustaining engagement. The record also includes the source Markdown artifact, which contains the finalized manuscript text and analyzed material. The source is provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and reuse in platform studies and digital ethnography. No factual or legal claims within the artifact are adjudicated; the materials are supplied strictly for discourse analysis.
