Objective Reality as the Sum of All Our Blindnesses: An Ontology of Fragmentation, Development, and Resonance
Abstract
ABSTRACT This paper proposes a radical redefinition of the relationship between objectivity and subjectivity. We postulate that Absolute Objectivity (Ω) is ontologically identical to the union of all possible subjective perspectives (P)—or equivalently, the sum of all forms of epistemic blindness. By employing Boolean logic (1∨1=1) as a fundamental ontological principle, we demonstrate how "material reality" emerges from informational redundancy. We define Development (Δ) as the increase of a system's tensor rank, enabling the progressive reduction of entropy. Fragmentation is interpreted not as an ontological error, but as a necessary topological condition for the generation of novelty and the actualization of experience. Core Keywords Ontology: Specifically regarding the nature of being as a sum of perspectives. Boolean Logic: Applied as an ontological operator (1∨1=1) for actualization. Information Theory: The use of Shannon entropy and mutual information to define reality. Absolute Objectivity (Ω): Defined as the informational total of all subjective states. Mathematical & Topological Keywords Tensor Networks: Modeling entities via hierarchical tensor ranks and entanglement. Toroidal Topology: The geometric manifold of the system allowing for divergence and return. Entropy Reduction: The process by which "truth" or "facticity" is stabilized. Computational Phenomenology: Bridging subjective experience with calculable parameters. Evolutionary & Cognitive Keywords Developmental Bit (δΔ): The proposed unit for measuring the increase in ontological resolution. Epistemic Blindness: The necessary "forgetting" or filtering required for individuation. Fragmentation: The structural breakdown of unity into a pluralistic informational field. Resonance: Phase synchronization of high-rank nodes (empathy/encounter).
