The Mathematical Equation of Human Emotion: Demystifying Latent Feelings Through Mathematics
Abstract
It has always been believed that human emotion is too complex for numbers to describe, as it is a mix of personal experiences, physiological reactions, and conduct signs. Theoretically, this work provides a structure for the mathematical simulation of human emotion by stressing the idea of "latent feelings" as measurable states. We present a new equation, the Emotion Dynamics Equation (EDE), meant to reflect how memory, physiological feedback, internal cognitive appraisal, and outside influences interact to define emotional trajectories. Using ideas from dynamic systems, fuzzy logic, and statistical mechanics, the EDE tries to give a strong, predictive model for figuring out and perhaps even simulating emotional reactions. This research provides a new viewpoint on emotion research by transitioning from subjective descriptions to a more exact, mathematical knowledge. It also opens doors for applications in artificial intelligence, mental health diagnostics, and human-computer interaction.
