Abstract
ABSTRACT This treatise formally establishes Digital Systemic Anthropological Linguistics (DSAL™) as a scientific field, situating its object of investigation at the critical intersection between the systemic structures of neoliberalism and the complexity of digital ecosystems governed by Big Techs. The work presents an epistemological architecture grounded in the Theory of Digital Systemic Linguistic Intersubjectivation (TILSD™) and operationalized by the Barone Decolonial Linguistic Praxis (BDLP™), diagnosing the interdiction of the subject's discursive and cognitive faculty in the current era. Although Human Sciences literature already maps the damage to mental and social health resulting from the Political-Neoliberal-Systemic-Digital phenomenon, there is an instrumental insufficiency to address the problem. Unlike previous technological revolutions, the current hegemony of Big Techs and their algorithmic mediation have imploded the fundamental categories of discourse, enunciation, speaker, and interlocutor. Drawing upon Benveniste, for whom "it is in and through language that man constitutes himself as a subject," this treatise demonstrates that if the instances of language have been dismantled by algorithmic mediation, orthodox tools have become incapable of rescuing human agency. In response, TILSD™ proposes the Discursive Agency Zone (ZAD™) as a phenomenon of decolonial authorship rescue. To operationalize the ZAD™, BDLP™ institutes the Ecosystem of Discursive Agency and Inscription (EADI™), integrating unprecedented devices such as COD™ and DRND™. This study introduces and registers the anteriority and copyright of proprietary analytical categories, such as: Digital Discursive Anthropophagy, Systemic Ventriloquism, Systemic Digital In-Between, Cognitive Digital Surplus Value, Digital Parasite Paradox, Digital Functionality Blackmail, Subject Reification, Cognitive Castes, State of Discursive Exile, Naturalization Matrix, AI Honesty Syncope, De-intersubjectivation Device, Interdicted Enunciative Reversibility, and High-Quality Human Node. Finally, this document constitutes simultaneously a formal record of LASD™, necessary for safeguarding the authorship rights of its formulation, and an explicit invitation to the scientific community interested in joining this collective project of research and intervention aimed at the discursive agencing of the subject in the digital age. The PDF document below, available for download, provides a robust framework to confront digital mimesis and rescue emancipatory agency. Both theory and praxis were developed by Vivian Barone, linguist, psychologist, and founder of the Barone English Institute (a Daughter Company of UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho").
