Abstract

This preprint introduces Artwork Numeric Manifest (ANM) as a practice-based conceptual framework that positions numeric systems not merely as tools for quantification, but as narratives of authorship, creative process, ethical stance, and long-term artistic legacy in contemporary art and design practice. Responding to the accelerated production enabled by digital platforms and generative artificial intelligence, ANM is proposed as an alternative identification system that reinforces human agency, personal responsibility, and ethical awareness within creative practices. Developed through reflective and practice-based research, this paper outlines the conceptual foundation, core principles, and structural logic of ANM, offering it as an open, collective system while affirming the creator as the primary subject of artistic and design production. This document is released as a preprint and has not yet undergone peer review.
