Abstract

This package provides MATLAB codes and parameter configuration files needed to reproduce the numerical simulations and figures for Multi-Malware Spread in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) Using Stochastic Methods. This study addresses worm propagation security threats in WSNs by modeling the dynamics under random environmental disturbances. A stochastic SE1E2IR framework with two exposed classes is developed to characterize infection progression more realistically than deterministic models. Using stochastic analysis and suitable Lyapunov functions, the theoretical results establish well-posedness and confirm the existence of an ergodic stationary distribution. Numerical experiments support the analytical findings and demonstrate how stochastic perturbations can yield more accurate dynamic behavior than deterministic approximations that may overestimate outbreak severity. The proposed methodology provides an analytical and computational basis for studying worm propagation and strengthening WSN security strategies.
